Volunteering

Volunteering: Thousands of people around the world partake in this glorious activity and each and every one of them is different and unique. Only one factor binds us all together by our heartbeats; this is the desire to make a difference in someone’s life other than your own. The desire to spend time on people other than yourself. Time is a very valuable treasure. It can not be bought or sold, traded or gifted, or even frozen. Time is infinite yet limited and the moments we have are oh so precious. Every volunteer has a heart that beats for someone else; someone in need. We stand together with time as our ally because our time is NEVER wasted when spent on the empowerment of someone else. We share our time and we give our moments in exchange for a single smile; time can be lost or stolen, but when it is given, it returns more than we could ever bargain for. Volunteers: hearts of gold and givers of precious moments in time.
