I have wanted to become a Raider Ambassador the moment I heard about the club. When I was in middle school, I did not go out for Student Ambassadors. This decision is one that I regret a lot. The whole idea of being able to volunteer and help people while having fun has always sparked interest inside of me. When I was in 8th grade, I came on the visit to Alpharetta High School. These visits and tours are guided by Raider Ambassadors. Instantly I knew that I needed to become one. Not just because it looked fun, but because of the satisfaction you receive for knowing that you helped make someone’s day better. For all the middle schoolers on that trip, the Raider Ambassadors eased their copious amount of fears and worries that they had for their big transition into high school. Moments like this, is why I became a Raider Ambassador.
